Margaux du Chateau Margaux is the historic second wine of the First Growth estate in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux. The 2019 is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, made in a mild vintage with limited rain and only three days of frost.
Tasting Notes
Floral, fruity, and subtly spiced on the nose, already expressive and complex with perfectly integrated oak; the palate is smooth and silky, with well-rounded tannins that belie the vintage's underlying concentration, finishing long with finesse and delicacy.
