Profile & Story
Marques de Caceres was founded in 1970 in Rioja Alta by Enrique Forner, who brought Bordeaux winemaking experience from Chateau Larose-Trintaudon and Chateau Camensac. The Reserva blends fruit from Rioja Alta's ferrous soils and Rioja Alavesa's limestone, from low-yield old vines, aged 20 months in French oak split between new and used barrels with racking every five months.
