Cantina Valle Tritana takes its name from the Tritana Valley in the heart of Abruzzo, at the foothills of the Gran Sasso, where warm days and cold nights create a distinct microclimate. 'Tritano' references the historic name of the Tirino river, said to mean 'born from three parts' after its three tributaries. This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is 100% Montepulciano.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red with violet hints; an intense, complex bouquet of dark fruit such as currants and blackberries with subtle hints of chocolate and mint, and excellent structure with sweet tannins.

Suited to hearty pasta with meat ragu, grilled sausage, and pizza.
