Profile & Story
Hermanos Frias del Val is a fourth-generation family bodega in Rioja Alavesa, founded in 1969; 'Hermanos' (brothers) was added to the name in 1999 when the current generation of siblings took over. The family farms roughly 35 hectares across some 90 plots, planted about 90% to Tempranillo. The Reserva spends extended time in oak and bottle before release, per DOCa Rioja Reserva requirements.
Tasting Notes
Full-bodied and spicy, with aromas of ripe fruit, creamy oak, toast and tobacco; a flavorful, powerful, spicy palate typical of a traditionally-aged Rioja Reserva.

Pairs with grilled lamb, roast beef, and aged Manchego cheese.
