La Poderina was founded in 1988 in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate zone just south of Montalcino, Tuscany; of its 120 acres, roughly 20 are dedicated to Sangiovese Grosso for this Rosso di Montalcino DOC.
Tasting Notes
A bouquet of chalk dust, lavender, blackberries and white pepper; spicy and lifted, with ripe red and blue fruit, zesty acidity and a saline finish.
