Weingut Erich Sattler is a four-generation family estate around Tadten, in the northernmost part of Burgenland's Neusiedlersee region, farmed without irrigation on gravel soils left by the Danube under a Pannonian climate. Erich Sattler and his wife Vanessa Knirsch practice certified minimal-impact, hand-harvested viticulture across 22 hectares; Zweigelt is described by Erich as his favorite grape variety.
