Weingut Ernst Triebaumer is a family-run mixed farm on Lake Neusiedl in Rust, combining livestock and open-air vegetable growing with an ecologically minded approach to viticulture -- greening and sheep-grazing the vineyards, selective hand-picking, spontaneous fermentation, and slow aging in large, used wooden barrels. This Sauvignon Blanc comes from Ried Vogelsang, the southwesternmost vineyard site of Rust, where large day-to-night temperature swings help shape the wine's complexity.
