Profile & Story

Weingut Loimer is a leading biodynamic (Demeter-certified) estate in Kamptal, Lower Austria, run by Fred Loimer. The Brut Rose Reserve is a methode traditionelle sparkling wine blended from Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent, hand-harvested in small crates, spontaneously fermented, and aged on the lees in bottle for around 18 months before a low, Brut-level dosage (about 4 g/l).

Tasting Notes

Pale pink in color, with red-fruit aromas of fresh strawberry and cherry accented by sweet herbs and flowers; firm acidity on the palate, with weight and texture from extended lees aging.
