Pieropan, vignaioli since 1880, is a historic family estate in Soave Classico; Calvarino, produced since 1971, was the first Italian white wine identified by a single vineyard, from the family's original 1901 property.
Tasting Notes
Organically farmed grapes — 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano di Soave — grown on volcanic soils, fermented and aged in tulip-shaped concrete tanks. Dry, delivering pear, Meyer lemon, dried herb, and smoky mineral notes closing on a saline tang.
