Profile & Story
Emmolo takes its name from winemaker Jenny Wagner's maternal family, who immigrated from Sicily to Napa Valley in 1923 and later ran a grapevine rootstock nursery supplying the region's vintners. Jenny's mother Cheryl founded the Emmolo label in 1994 to keep the name alive, and Jenny has led it for more than 15 years, crafting a Sauvignon Blanc sourced mainly from Suisun Valley with additional fruit from Lake County and Napa Valley.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of barely ripened white peach, honeysuckle and honeydew give way to a fresh, clean palate of tangerine and honeydew, with a subtle citrus finish that is neither tart nor sweet; vibrant acidity and low alcohol keep it lively without herbaceous edges.

Suggested with salads, grilled fish or pea soup, or simply on its own.
