Profile & Story

Folicello is a family-run organic farm in Castelfranco Emilia, near Modena in Emilia-Romagna, begun almost for fun in the early 1980s by Antonella and Marco to make a healthy glass of wine for themselves and their friends; their daughters now work alongside them. Buffo is a sparkling red of Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro from clay and limestone soils, macerated for three weeks and refermented in bottle, at 12% alcohol.
