Celine and Laurent Tripoz founded their estate in Loche, a small village in the Maconnais near Macon, in 1990, having previously sold their fruit to the co-operative. They converted to organics in 2001 and were certified biodynamic by Demeter in 2006. The 11-hectare domaine is planted to roughly 80% Chardonnay with Pinot Noir, Aligote and a little Gamay. 'Limone' is grown on the clay-limestone soils of the Maconnais and is fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve its tension. 11.5% alcohol.
