Profile & Story
Animo is the Michael Mondavi Family's Atlas Peak label, from an estate vineyard purchased and planted in 1999 at 1,270-1,350 feet elevation overlooking Oakville, predominantly Clone Four Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2019 is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, aged 20 months in French oak (50% new).
Tasting Notes
Bursting with red fruits such as raspberry and currants, complemented by aromas of violet and vanilla.
