Profile & Story

Kerr Cellars is a boutique Napa Valley and Sonoma County winery founded in 2013 by professional golfer and sommelier Cristie Kerr. This 100% Chardonnay (Old Wente and 543 clones) draws on two Sonoma Coast vineyards — 5 Wells and Ueberroth — aged 16 months in 30% new French oak, sur lie, 14.2% ABV. Winemaker: Helen Keplinger.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant nose of lemon curd, brioche, apricot, honey and almond; a silky entry opens to a sumptuous, broad mid-palate of lemon zest, almond, pastry and a touch of honey, with bright, well-integrated acidity driving a long, mineral finish.
