Pine Ridge Vineyards is a Napa Valley producer known for this unusual white blend — 80% Chenin Blanc from the Clarksburg appellation and 20% Viognier from Lodi — created as an experiment that became one of the winery's most popular wines. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness. ABV 11.5%.

Tasting Notes

Opens with kiwi, Meyer lemon and fresh-cut melon, accented by honeysuckle and lemon verbena, with notes of peach ring, apricot, green apple and mandarin; zippy and refreshing on the palate with granite-driven minerality and a hint of black pepper on the finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Pairs well with light salads, seafood, and spicy dishes such as Thai curry; also good with goat cheese, radishes and olives, or a shrimp and avocado tostada.
