Bodegas Lustau, a benchmark producer of fine Sherry from Jerez de la Frontera, makes Don Nuño within its Solera Familiar range, which spans the full spectrum of Sherry styles from delicate Fino and Manzanilla through to sweet Moscatel and Pedro Ximénez. Made from 100% Palomino grapes, this dry Oloroso undergoes oxidative aging for 12 years in Bodega La Campana in Jerez de la Frontera, reaching 20% alcohol.

Tasting Notes

Dark bronze in color with a golden rim, it offers pungent nutty aromas with a smoky wood background, and rich flavors of bitter chocolate, walnuts, and baked chestnuts, finishing with an intense, concentrated aftertaste lifted by a tangy acidity.

Pairing Recommendation

Best served slightly chilled, between 13-14°C (55-57°F); pairs with matured cheeses and red meats, and is ideal with game dishes, stews, and other rich meat dishes — also excellent as a digestif.
