Profile & Story

For nine generations, the family behind Domaine Montrose has made wine in the Languedoc. Solis Lumen was born in the south of France, on the shores of the Mediterranean; this orange wine evokes the garrigue, sun-drenched citrus fruit, and spices of its surroundings. It is made from a blend of 90% Muscat petits grains and 10% Grenache gris, grown on clay-limestone (argilo-calcaire) soil, organic certified and carbon neutral. Production involves a seven-day maceration at 18–24°C, followed by gentle pressing and six months of barrel aging before bottling.
