Varietals: Kisi, Khikhvi, Mtsvane. Anapea produces raw, vegan wines from indigenous Georgian grapes farmed regeneratively and organically with biodynamic practices. Hand-harvested grapes undergo wild yeast fermentation, six months’ skin-contact maceration, and ageing in qvevri, with no additives, sulfur, or filtration. Their two-level underground marani uses only qvevri, with gravity flow between fermentation and ageing. Beyond winemaking, Anapea is building a village complex dedicated to Georgia’s 8,000-year qvevri tradition, including a museum, lab, marani, hotel, restaurant, and more. Importer: Nomadic Distribution
