Goruli Mtsvane 55% / Chinebuli 45%. Grapes are sourced from co-planted parcels on the banks of the Mejuda River in the Shida Kartli region. Viticulture is organic, vineyards range from 2000-2600ft and consist primarily of deep, dark gray clay soils. Chinebuli ‘chin-e-boo-lee’ (also known as Chinuri) is native to Georgia’s central Kartli region, where it is often blended with the native Goruli Mtsvane (literally, Mtsvane from Gori) to make high-acid, refreshing white table wines. Herbal and fresh, tree-fruit flavors are common. Following harvest in late October, Chinebuli and Goruli Mtsvane were crushed and immediately pressed off into steel tanks for spontaneous co-fermentation using classic European technique. The wine was aged in tank six additional months then bottled for 3 months prior to release. Importer: Ghvinos Wine Group LLC
