Profile & Story

A family estate since 1887, specializing in Chablis since 1957 under Guy Mothe and now run by his three sons — Jean-Louis, Thierry and Vincent. Farmed naturally across 55 hectares of Chardonnay, the domaine is known for pure, unoaked, mineral-driven Chablis made in traditional Burgundian style.

Tasting Notes

Pale gold with green highlights. Citrus and white-flower aromas over a chalky, saline minerality typical of Kimmeridgian limestone soils; bright acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

Classic with oysters and other raw or lightly cooked shellfish.
