Gernot and Heike Heinrich founded their estate in Gols, Burgenland, in 1990 and converted to biodynamic farming in 2006 (Demeter-certified 2017). 'Naked White' is a field-blend-style cuvée — roughly 38% Pinot Blanc, 37% Chardonnay, 11% Pinot Gris, 8% Grüner Veltliner and 6% Welschriesling — hand-harvested, macerated overnight on the skins, fermented spontaneously, aged on lees in large used oak, and bottled unfiltered and unfined with minimal sulfur.
