Profile & Story

Pierre Boisson represents the newest generation of a Meursault family with more than two centuries of winemaking heritage; he took over Domaine Boisson-Vadot in 2016, working alongside his sister Anne at the family cellars. The domaine emphasizes traditional methods — old-vine holdings, meticulous viticulture, indigenous-yeast fermentation, extended barrel aging (19–22 months) with under 30% new oak, light fining and no filtration. "Le Chemin de Pierre" comes from a previously unplanted 2-hectare plot in Nantoux, just above Pommard in the Hautes-Côtes, on rocky limestone soils. 2022 is the inaugural vintage: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in barrel, then 15 months on lees in one-year-old oak plus 4 months after racking.

Tasting Notes

Pear, brioche, and smoke — a slightly reductive, stony, flinty style of white Burgundy with strong minerality, ripe lemon, and a long, salty finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Serve chilled with sushi, all types of seafood, or soft cheeses.
