Profile & Story
Carmel Winery was founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild of Château Lafite and is one of Israel's most historic wineries. The Private Collection — previously the Rothschild series — is an established range of quality varietal wines drawn from several Israeli growing regions. This Shiraz is a dry red, made Mevushal under OU kosher supervision.
Tasting Notes
Deep purple; medium-bodied, with ripe plum, blackberry, green olive and roasted-herb aromas and flavors and a hint of new leather on the finish.
