Profile & Story

Castello Monaci is a Puglian estate housed in a 16th-century castle with medieval foundations, owned by the Memmo and Seracca Guerrieri family and specializing in the region's indigenous grapes — Primitivo, Negroamaro and Verdeca — with night harvesting and separate small-tank vinification. Petraluce is its Verdeca from the Salento, named for the pale stones that reflect the Puglian sun in the vineyards.

Tasting Notes

A fresh, Mediterranean white — bright and savory, with citrus, white-flower and sea-breeze notes and a lingering finish.

Pairing Recommendation

Serve chilled with seafood, shellfish and vegetable antipasti.
