Profile & Story
Château Ksara is Lebanon's oldest, largest and most-visited winery, tracing back to 1857 when Jesuit monks made the first dry red of the Bekaa Valley. Réserve du Couvent is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon inspired by the wines of the northern Rhône and Bordeaux, matured about six months in second-fill French oak.
Tasting Notes
A complex nose of cloves, vanilla and mulberry; the palate shows abundant blueberry fruit with supple tannins that give it length and persistence.
