The Chiarli family founded their Emilia-Romagna estate in 1860 and were pioneers of the Charmat method in Lambrusco country; a hundred years later they introduced this wine, aptly named ‘Centenario.’ It is a lightly effervescent red made from Lambrusco Grasparossa, a variety prized for its deep color and high natural acidity that balances the wine's gentle sweetness, at around 8% alcohol.
Tasting Notes
A well-balanced, intense red with a soft, off-dry profile: graphite and sweet-tobacco character, a round and creamy texture, and energetic acidity that keeps it lively.
