Oenops Wines was founded in late 2015 by oenologist Nikos Karatzas in Drama, in Northern Greece, sourcing fruit from old vineyards of indigenous Greek varieties in partnership with growers across distinctive terroirs. ‘Apla’ Red blends Xinomavro, Limniona and Mavroudi from vines aged between 15 and 50 years, made in a light, lively style with bright acidity, crunchy red fruit and sleek tannins.
