Profile & Story
Tre Monti is an organic estate based in Imola in Emilia-Romagna, certified by Suolo e Salute. Vigna Rocca is its Albana — for the winery ‘the most Romagnolo variety we have, a true and unique expression of the territory.’ It is 100% Albana di Romagna from the Vigna della Rocca on the Petrignone estate at Forlì, grown on calcareous clay at 150 metres on 30-year-old vines; hand-picked in mid-September, it ferments for about 15 days in steel at 17–19°C with no malolactic, yielding around 25,000 bottles a year.
Tasting Notes
‘A red wine in a white dress’: lively golden yellow, with an elegant, fruity bouquet of honey and wildflowers, and a mouth-filling palate of ripe peach and plum that finishes on a pleasant note of bitter almond.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs with fried seafood and fish soup, risotto and roast poultry.
