Profile & Story
Zardetto is a Prosecco house in the Veneto hills, drawing its Glera from vineyards across the provinces of Venice and Treviso and presenting its wines as a multi-sensory experience, with labels styled after Venetian masks. This Prosecco Brut DOC is made from 85% Glera with 15% Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay; the base wine is held in stainless steel at 10–12°C, then takes its bubbles in a pressurized tank at 15–16°C before resting at 0°C for at least 30 days ahead of filtration and bottling.
Tasting Notes
Straw-yellow with greenish reflections and a rich, fine, persistent perlage. The nose is fresh, floral and fruity, with hints of acacia flowers, apricot and green apple, while the palate is fresh and sapid, its citrus and green-apple notes lending a pleasant acidity.
Pairing Recommendation
Perfect as an aperitif, and equally at home throughout the whole meal.
