Profile & Story
Bollini was founded in 1979 by Neil and Maria Empson, built on their reputation as importers of quality Italian wine, to showcase noble grape varieties from the cool Alpine foothills of Trentino and Friuli. The vineyards' hillside sites and dramatic day-night temperature swings concentrate fruit character and minerality. This Pinot Grigio comes from hillside vineyards in the Dolomites and is aged on its fine lees to build complexity.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow in color, with a clean, delicate nose of acacia flowers and pear and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is elegantly structured, smooth and persistent, with crisp fruit and natural acidity.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with fish, white meat, soups, pasta, risotto and cold cuts; best enjoyed young, served at 10–12°C.
