Pannunzio is a family winery in Barrancas, Maipú — one of Mendoza, Argentina's oldest winegrowing districts — founded by Italian immigrant Giovanni Vincenzo Pannunzio, who developed vineyards on land reclaimed from the desert using underground springs at the foot of the Andes. The estate's Malbec is grown at roughly 800 meters above sea level in this historic Maipú terroir.

Mendoza Malbecs from Maipú are typically deep ruby in color, with ripe plum and blackberry fruit, gentle spice, and soft, approachable tannins.
