Deep purple color demonstrates a deeply extracted wine. Up front the complex palate is full of dark currants, black cherries and rich tannins. A beautiful core acidity keeps the many moving parts centered and allows this full bodied wine to express freshness and vibrancy. A pitch perfect wine for eggplant parmesan, it should age gracefully for the next for 14-16 years.
