About the Wine
The latest vintage of this most versatile, and food-friendly 100% Tempranillo from the Pierce Ranch Vineyard, which specializes in growing Iberian (Spanish and Portuguese) varieties, was aged for 34 months in neutral French Oak to tame its tremendous tannins.
Tasting Notes
Starting off with a garnet crimson hue with hints of Old Chicago Brick; aromas of black cherry, star anise, nubuck leather, and baking spices; leading to cocoa, Manhattan Cherries, cinnamon, coffee, and peppery spice notes in the mouth; and a long lingering and gripping finish with hints of spice and vanilla.

Pairs with grilled lamb chops, classic spaghetti, pulled pork, and chocolate desserts.
