The 2022 Mourvèdre is boldly aromatic, yet deceptively elegant. Dazzling floral notes of geranium, plumeria, & rosewater lead into intense aromas of blackberry, dried strawberry, cinnamon, pine forest & sagebrush. The palate opens with lively fresh fruit but continues to develop rich nuances in the glass. Rainier cherry, fresh papaya, cassis, & pomegranate bring energy, while intriguing notes of vanilla, pink peppercorn, & dark chocolate covered candied orange add complexity & depth.
