About the Wine

The 2022 weather during the ripening period was about as ideal as we could ask for which led to excellent harvest conditions and interesting depth that shows gorgeously in the Grenache. From the beginning, this wine has been a balance of beauty and beast. Highlighting notes of fresh strawberry, coastal sage, and dusty pomegranate. 50% whole cluster gives this wine a beast of a mid-palate with gorgeous texture and flavors of strawberries, cooked rhubarb, and layers of rose petals. The lovely balance of delicate tannins and fresh acidity leads to a long chalky mineral-driven finish which highlights the limestone soils in the vineyard and the depth and beauty in this wine.
